Bird watching

Bird watching ๐Ÿฆ๐Ÿฆ†

On 26th January 2019, Dr. Anna Neena George had organised bird watching activity for all the students of our college
I was very excited for the bird watching activity.
We were taken to Carambolim lake at afternoon to do Bird watching. There were two resource persons, Miss. Mrunmayi Thakur and Omkar Dhargalkar from the Goa Bird Conservation Network (GBCN) organisation. They showed us different types of beautiful migratory birds through telescopes and binoculars.

I was able to see 25 different varieties of beaitiful birds to name some of them are Great egret, grey heron, swallows, ruddy shelled duck, jackana, little igret, swamp hens, marsh harrier, red shank, red wattled lap wing and many moreIt was indeed a new experience for me and I enjoyed it alot.
