Brain Based Strategy

 BRAIN BASED STRATEGY

1. PICTIONARY

Pictionary is a strategy that is very interesting as the students are made to recognise the concepts based on the pictures shown to them. This strategy can be used as set induction, development or evaluation. The picture shown is itself the clue for the students to guess the concerned topic. In Pictionary various pictures are used by teachers to give to their students and let them discuss about what they can observe in it.

Steps:

1. Made groups of students, each containing five students. In each one writer was assigned who wrote the points on the worksheet.

2. Each member saw the picture carefully and told whatever they felt they had observed in the picture.

3.They were five minutes to do the above steps. Once they were done, one member from each group were called in front to read the points their group had noted down relate the picture.

This strategy helped the students to learn about water pollution, its cause and side effects in an effective manner. The students will remember in more precisely due to the use of pictures in this strategy.
