Lesson: Combustible and Non Combustible substances (class VIII)
(Concept Attainment Method)
I took this lesson of class 8 at Shardha English High School, Marcela. For this lesson , Concept Attainment method of teaching was used by me. Initially, some labelled examples and then unlabelled examples were shown to the students to attain the concept by themselves.
I
used various materials like dry paper:wet paper, dry leaves:wet
leaves, etc to show the difference between combustible and
Non-Combustible substances. Other substances such as iron nail,charcoal,
were used. With the help of candle I showed them to differentiate
between them as combustible and non combustible substances.
