Kagan Cooperative Strategy


KAGAN CO-OPERATIVE STRATEGY


1. ONE STRAY

One stray is a strategy in which students co-operatively learn different concepts simultaneously but from the same topic. The students share their knowledge of the concepts with each other. This group activity makes the students to learn and relearn the concepts with the help of each other’s.

Steps:

1. Each group there were four members. They were given a particular worksheet to perform. 

2.With these they had to discuss about the autotrophs and heterotrophs mode of nutrition. 

3.In each there was one leader who had write to all the points discussed on the given topic of discussion.


4. From each group one student had to stray to another group and gain the ideas from the group to which she is visiting, whereas the other students staying in their respective groups had to share their ideas with other group member coming to them.
