Scifun

Scifun

Sci-fun is the programm in which many science experiments are shown in a fun and systematic manner. The whole program is inspired by Mr. Arvind Gupta’s ideas, planned and organized by Associate professor of GVM’S Dr. Dada Vaidya College Of Education, Dr. Anna Neena George.

For First year:

All the first year science students had performed different experiments. Some experiments were shown in classrooms and some as common demonstrations. We had visited to two schools with our sci-fun programm. On 28th January 2018 we visited to A.J. De Almeida school, Ponda and on 17th February to Harmal school. We had also done Skeleton dance.

In this program, we emphasize on using throw away waste to make objects through which scientific concepts can be understood and visualized. These Sci-Fun objects are cost efficient and can be easily made by the students.

I had demonstrated an experiment in common called "Color Tower" which followed the principle of Density and Immiscibility. Following are some of the photos of Sci-fun.

Special Scifun at A.J.De.Almeida High School on 08th October 2018

On 08th October 2018 in A.J.De.Almeida High School, we had done special mini scifun for the students as well as for Mr. Sharath Chandra, resource person of science workshop of butterfly kits held for us in our college.

Scifun in St There's Convent High School; Raia
On 12 January 2019

For this scifun, I demonstrated two demonstrations, Vitamin C and Candle seesaw. Vitamin C is a biology experiment ana candle seesaw is a physics experiment. The experiment were also peefornpeby students.

Scifun at Swami Vivekanand High School; Borim
On 09 February 2019

For this scifun, I demonstrated one demonstration, i.e. Colour tower. This experiment is a chemistry experiment. The demonstration was loved by students. The Students enthusiastically participated to perform the experiment.
