Lesson : Filtration (class VI)


(Laboratory Method)

This is a Laboratory lesson plan of filtration topic. I had taken the one batch of students of class 6 to the science laboratory to explain them about filtration.I had divided them into groups and to each group different types of mixtures and filters were given. Mixtures such as sugar solution, soil-water, rice-water, tea powder-water, etc and filters such as strainer, cloth,filter paper were used.


Students practically performed the experiment and understand the criteria of when to use filtration for certain types of mixtures.I also explained them with the help of chart.
